What is the most important information I should know about lisinopril?
• Do not take lisinopril if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy lisinopril 10 mg. What is lisinopril?
• Lisinopril is in a class of drugs called angiotensin-converting-enzyme(ACE) inhibitors lisinopril 10 mg.
• Lisinopril is used to lower blood pressure, to treat congestive heartfailure, and to improve the survival rate after a heart attack lisinopril 10 mg.
• Lisinopril may also be used for purposes other than those listed in thismedication guide lisinopril 10 mg.
Who should not take lisinopril?

· have diabetes lisinopril 10 mg.
• You may not be able to take lisinopril, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditions listedabove lisinopril 10 mg.
• Lisinopril is in the FDA pregnancy category D lisinopril 10 mg. This means that lisinoprilis known to harm an unborn baby lisinopril 10 mg. If you experiencedizziness or drowsiness, avoid these activities and notify your doctor lisinopril 10 mg. Alsouse caution when rising from a sitting or lying position lisinopril 10 mg.
• Use alcohol cautiously lisinopril 10 mg. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizzinesswhile you are taking lisinopril lisinopril 10 mg. Alcohol may further lower blood pressure andincrease drowsiness and dizziness when you are taking lisinopril lisinopril 10 mg.
• Do not use salt substitutes or potassium supplements while taking lisinoprilexcept under the supervision of your doctor lisinopril 10 mg.

What are the possible side effects of lisinopril?
• If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop takinglisinopril and call your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical treatment:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat;swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· difficulty breathing;
· little or no urine;
· an irregular heartbeat or changes in your heartbeat;
· chest pain;
· severe dizziness or fainting; or
· signs of an infection including a sore throat or a fever lisinopril 10 mg.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur lisinopril 10 mg. Continueto take lisinopril and talk to your doctor if you experience
· mild dizziness or lightheadedness;
· headache;
· unusual fatigue or weakness;
· dry, tickling cough;
· muscle cramps;
· numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, arms, or legs;
· nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea;
· a rash; or
· impotence lisinopril 10 mg.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur lisinopril 10 mg. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome lisinopril 10 mg.
What other drugs will affect lisinopril?
• Before taking lisinopril, tell your doctor if you are taking any of thefollowing drugs:
· a potassium supplement such as K-Dur, Klor-Con, and others;
· salt substitutes that contain potassium;
· any of the diuretics (water pills) triamterene (Dyrenium, Maxzide,Dyazide), spironolactone (Aldactone), or amiloride (Midamor);
· any other diuretic (water pill) such as hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ,HydroDiuril, others), furosemide (Lasix), bumetanide (Bumex), indapamide (Lozol),and others;
· lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith, others); or
· indomethacin (Indocin) lisinopril 10 mg.
• You may not be able to take lisinopril, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during your treatment if you are taking any of the medicineslisted above lisinopril 10 mg.
• Drugs other than those listed here may also interact with lisinoprilor affect your condition lisinopril 10 mg. Talk to your doctor and pharmacist before taking anyprescription or over-the-counter medicines lisinopril 10 mg.
