What is the most important information I should know about lisinopril?
• Do not take lisinopril if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy 25 mg lisinopril. Whenused during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, lisinopril can causeinjury and even death to the developing fetus 25 mg lisinopril. Notify your doctor immediatelyif you think you might be pregnant 25 mg lisinopril.
• Lisinopril may increase the risk of dangerous allergic reactions 25 mg lisinopril. What is lisinopril?
• Lisinopril is in a class of drugs called angiotensin-converting-enzyme(ACE) inhibitors 25 mg lisinopril.
• Lisinopril is used to lower blood pressure, to treat congestive heartfailure, and to improve the survival rate after a heart attack 25 mg lisinopril.
• Lisinopril may also be used for purposes other than those listed in thismedication guide 25 mg lisinopril.
Who should not take lisinopril?

· have diabetes 25 mg lisinopril.
• You may not be able to take lisinopril, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditions listedabove 25 mg lisinopril.
• Lisinopril is in the FDA pregnancy category D 25 mg lisinopril. This means that lisinoprilis known to harm an unborn baby 25 mg lisinopril. What should I avoid while taking lisinopril?
• Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardousactivities 25 mg lisinopril. Lisinopril may cause dizziness or drowsiness 25 mg lisinopril. If you experiencedizziness or drowsiness, avoid these activities and notify your doctor 25 mg lisinopril. Alsouse caution when rising from a sitting or lying position 25 mg lisinopril.
• Use alcohol cautiously 25 mg lisinopril. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizzinesswhile you are taking lisinopril 25 mg lisinopril. Alcohol may further lower blood pressure andincrease drowsiness and dizziness when you are taking lisinopril 25 mg lisinopril.
• Do not use salt substitutes or potassium supplements while taking lisinoprilexcept under the supervision of your doctor 25 mg lisinopril.

What are the possible side effects of lisinopril?
• If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop takinglisinopril and call your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical treatment:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat;swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· difficulty breathing;
· little or no urine;
· an irregular heartbeat or changes in your heartbeat;
· chest pain;
· severe dizziness or fainting; or
· signs of an infection including a sore throat or a fever 25 mg lisinopril.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur 25 mg lisinopril. Continueto take lisinopril and talk to your doctor if you experience
· mild dizziness or lightheadedness;
· headache;
· unusual fatigue or weakness;
· dry, tickling cough;
· muscle cramps;
· numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, arms, or legs;
· nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea;
· a rash; or
· impotence 25 mg lisinopril.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur 25 mg lisinopril. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome 25 mg lisinopril.
What other drugs will affect lisinopril?
• Before taking lisinopril, tell your doctor if you are taking any of thefollowing drugs:
· a potassium supplement such as K-Dur, Klor-Con, and others;
· salt substitutes that contain potassium;
· any of the diuretics (water pills) triamterene (Dyrenium, Maxzide,Dyazide), spironolactone (Aldactone), or amiloride (Midamor);
· any other diuretic (water pill) such as hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ,HydroDiuril, others), furosemide (Lasix), bumetanide (Bumex), indapamide (Lozol),and others;
· lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith, others); or
· indomethacin (Indocin) 25 mg lisinopril.
• You may not be able to take lisinopril, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during your treatment if you are taking any of the medicineslisted above 25 mg lisinopril.
• Drugs other than those listed here may also interact with lisinoprilor affect your condition 25 mg lisinopril. Talk to your doctor and pharmacist before taking anyprescription or over-the-counter medicines 25 mg lisinopril.
